Pre-drive checklist damage examples

Whether or not to submit damage photos

During your pre-drive inspections, you might find damage that hasn’t been previously reported. The extent of the damage determines whether or not you will upload photos to document it.

In general, you don’t want to upload photos of minor scratches, indentations or chips in the paint. However, if any of these items are over 2 inches in length, or appear in multiple instances on a single panel, they should be reported with photos. As well as anything that requires repair or hinders safety.
